NEW BRAUNFELS AREA CAR CLUB

The New Braunfels Area Car Club (NBACC) was organized in late 1991 after car enthusiasts Barney Calvert and Bennie Mills were discussing the need for a local car club. The name, New Braunfels Area Car Club, was chosen in an effort to include as many as possible from the surrounding communities.

The purpose of the club was, and is, to encourage the preservation and enjoyment of cars 20 years old or older and to be able to display these cars in the area when the opportunity presents itself.

The idea of having a swap meet soon came about, and NBACC has been hosting annual swap meets since 1993. This annual swap meet has grown to one of the largest in the country and has participants from many states. The proceeds of this event are used to fund scholarships for area students who are pursuing education in automobile-related professions.

If you have an interest in assisting area youth in pursuing education opportunities in the automotive industry, please consider donating.
